Ultrasound, with its versatile mechanical, thermal and chemical effects on cells and tissue structures, has long been applied in the medical and aesthetic sectors. LDM® MED technology applies ultrasound waves with different (1,3 and 10MHz) and fast changing frequencies. This way a new and absolutely pain free micro massage in the tissue is created, which cannot be achieved with conventional ultrasound.
Different acne creams only reach the skin’s surfaces, where as high frequency ultrasound waves, intensified through LDM® MED technology, can penetrate to deeper skin layers and fight the ’inner’ source of acne. Dr. Vago has the first LDM® MED apparatus in Austria, which is used for acne therapy. From a mild case of acne in its first stages, to a very strongly infected acne on the face, neck, cleavage or back can successfully be treated. The treatment doesn’t require any preparation and is suitable for all skin types and ages. 8 to 12 treatments, 1 to 2 per week are required, depending on the severity of the acne. For a speedy result, 3 treatments per day can be performed, with 2 to 3 hours breaks in between. The treatment is very gentle and absolutely pain free. The result is already visible after the first session. There are no side effects, so you are fully operational after the treatment.
